What is Energy & Sleep:

Essentially, all of our energy comes from the food we eat. However, we can’t use that energy directly. Firstly, the human body must break down the carbohydrates, fats and proteins into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), an immediate usable form of chemical energy. ATP is then broken down to create energy for muscle contraction. There are many things that can happen during this process that causes your energy levels to seemingly disappear, leaving you fatigued and unmotivated. The main illnesses are:

Sleep is connected intricately with energy since both impact one another and work on the same system. Sleep is a naturally occurring state of mind that is characterized by an a relatively lowered sensory activity and inhibition of nearly all voluntary muscles. It can be distinguished from wakefulness as simply a decreased ability to react to stimuli. Since sleep is the time in which the body regulates all of its systems, when it is disrupted (especially for a prolonged period of time), the body begins to shut down.
